Trail Riding

Cedar Valley Preserve welcomes you to ride our trails across 585 acres of rolling hills, valleys, and woods.  Our trails are open to the public from April 1 - September 1 every year.  You are welcome to use our large outdoor riding arena during your stay.  We are 20 minutes away from Governor Dodge State Park, for more great riding, for those longer stays at Cedar Valley.  We do require reservations and a negative coggins test before unloading at Cedar Valley.  Stall or dry-lot boarding is available for your horse.  Our 8000 square foot lodge has 11 beds available for your stay.  Visit the lodging page for rates and more information about our lodge facility.

For those longer stays at Cedar Valley, we are within minutes of several state parks and other trail riding destinations including Governor Dodge State Park.

General public one day trail pass - $20 per horse

Lodging guest day trail pass - complimentary

Cedar Valley is a bring your own horse facility we do not rent horses or tack.
